3 things to do in London if you're a tourist or not in Summer 2019

It's June and summer is well underway but what exactly is going on in the UK's biggest and most vibrant city?

3 things to do in London if you're a tourist or not in Summer 2019

1. Outdoor Cinema by The Nomad Cinema

During the months of summer The Nomad Cinema can be seen touring London North, South, East and West. It's essentially an big giant screen that occupies a beautiful spot in London like a rooftop or a park where you go and watch a movie in the outdoor atmospherics of London at night. What's even better is that the profits from the ticket cost of between £13.50 and £15 is used to support their nominated charity, The Sustainability Institute.

The next film being shown is The Favourite (2019) at Citypoint on 18th June 2019.

Be aware that this is a favourite for Londoners and tickets tend to sell out.

2. Taste of London

From the 19th June to 23rd June 2019 Regent's Park is taken over by the tastes and smells of over 200 food stalls and 40 of London's top restaurants. You chance to take your tastebuds on the ultimate adventure.

Child tickets for the event are priced at £10.00 while an adult ticket will cost £23.00.

More information can be found on The Royal Parks website

3. Underbelly Festival

Situated on the Southbank, right behind one of the most recognisable ferris wheels in the world (the London Eye) is the Underbelly Festival. Lots of visitors to London tend to walk right past it because it looks like you need a ticket to enter but it's completely free on days were there are no live shows. The entrance quickly gives way to a large and wacky outdoor area that is essentially an exasperated beer garden with lots of food and drink stalls. Towering over the entire area is the stage that is used on event days.

No tickets are required except on an event days where tickets start from £8.50.
